The Berkshire Motel

I just stayed at this hotel last night and it was super cute. The location was pretty good too there is a dennys down the street and other places. The only thing is parking, there was only like 6 parking spots for the hotel and the rest were for the houses by the motel. The room was pretty small so if you have a big family I won’t recommend this motel. The service was alright the guy that works there doesn’t talk much but is very fast and efficient. But the room was super cute, it had a small bathroom but it did the job. And the room was very clean and the beds were comfy. Has a fridge and coffee maker too. But if you are looking for a small little town motel for like a day it’s a pretty good place to go and cheap!

Stayed here for a month & a half with my family while waiting for our place to be done & we loved it. We felt welcomed our whole stay not to mention our room was clean & CLEANED DAILY thanks to their housekeepers Carlos, Martha & Norma. Location was great with many restaurants near by as well as grocery stores, everything was walking distance and the neighborhood is safe. We will definitely be retuning if we plan to do another long stay. Big thanks to Misha & Her husband for their wonderful hospitality & making sure we enjoyed our stay & had everything we needed to feel comfortable while staying here. We forsure felt at home here.

Nice Hotel. Rooms are clean. 3 pillows and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are very pleasant. Great little coffee shop one block away. There's a Denny's across the street. Traffic is reasonable so you can cross without difficulty. We would stay here again.

After reading previous reviews we were very hesitant to stay at The Berkshire, but we needed a place to stay in this area so we gave it a try and ended up spending 3 nights. It was really nice. Both the gentleman and the lady were very nice, reserved, but very nice and courteous. The rooms were very clean and the area was a nice area. There were places to walk and have a nice meal.

The owners are kind, courteous and friendly. I appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond with making me feel comfortable and well cared for during my stay.

The accommodations were clean and comfortable. A refrigerator is provided in each room, with a microwave available 24 hours in the lobby. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The cable service, provided by Cox, offers responsive television control. The primary drawback of this establishment is the limited and inconvenient parking. However, the hotel's location is highly advantageous, with numerous restaurants, gas stations, and a bus stop in close proximity.

Definitely in a convenient place. It's about 10 mins to Hillcrest and most of the fun stuff in North Park is very close by. Plenty of walkable food options nearby. The room was clean but some things could use a update. Our ac unit worked but started to leak water by the last night. Parking is pretty limited so take that into mind when deciding to drive or Uber somewhere. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

I would have given 6 if there was no parking problem. I know that the owners are tired of explaining the situation but this is something that visitors should know beforehand. There are only 6 parking spots and they have 17 rooms. If you need to park in the evenings or weekends, good luck with it. You have to turn around and around to find a parking spot which is not easy either. Other than this the hotel is in an awesome neighborhood. I’d just walk around for hours. There are many restaurants and cafes around. The hotel itself is also very well maintained with new furnitures. Check in and check out were super easy, no hassle. Cleaning ladies are doing a great job as well. The walls are a bit thin though. We haven’t had a problem from the next doors but when guests in upstairs were walking, we could hear every single step. When they use the hot water, it is worse. These are not that a problem if you’re not so sensitive. The hotel is close to a main road as well. So don’t expect much from tranquility perspective.
